Route C / Ongoing support
Advice that stays on the map with you
A career is a series of decisions, not one. Ongoing support keeps a steady line of advice running through study, work and the next decision.
The route rail
Check-ins at the moments that matter
You set the pace. These are the usual stops, and any of them can move when life does.
- Start
First advice session
Map where you are, compare routes and leave with a booked next step.
- About 3 months
Check-in
A short follow-up on what has moved, what is stuck and what has changed.
- Each year
Annual check-up
Review your direction, skills and the market around you, then reset the plan.
- When it comes
Next decision
A new offer, a promotion, a change of field. Start the next route with your history in hand.
Check-ins
What a check-in covers
Shorter than a first session, and always built on your notes, so nothing starts from scratch.
What has moved
The next step from last time: done, delayed or changed.
What is stuck
Where the plan has met reality, and what would unstick it.
What has changed
Your work, your study, your family and the market around you.
The next step
One specific action with a date, booked before we finish.

Fees. Fees depend on the engagement and are quoted and agreed in writing before any work starts. See the cancellation policy for changes to bookings.
Why a fixed point helps
Most career plans do not fail at the start. They drift: a deadline passes, a course changes, a job offer arrives at the wrong moment. A regular check-in with someone who knows the plan keeps small adjustments small.
Plot your route first
Someone who already knows your story
Each check-in builds on the last, so you never have to start from the beginning when the next decision arrives.
Questions
Questions about ongoing support
Still unsure? Call 1800 266 160 and we will talk it through.
How do check-ins work?
A check-in is a shorter session, online or by phone, that starts from your notes and your last next step. We look at what has moved, what is stuck and what has changed, then book the next step.
Can I move from one-off advice to ongoing support later?
Yes. Many people start with a single session and add check-ins when they see how useful a fixed point is.
What does it cost?
Fees depend on the engagement and are quoted and agreed in writing before any work starts.
Can I pause?
Yes. Tell us, and we will hold your notes so the next session picks up where the last one finished.
