Choosing a course, changing careers or coming back to work. Get a clear view of your options and the trade-offs before you commit time and money.
- Study choice guidance
- Sector and role insights
- Pathway maps and second opinions
Independent career and study advice in plain language, for you, for the people helping you decide, and for the years after. Research-sourced, not tied to any single course or provider, and every session ends with a booked next step.
Route A / For you
For school leavers, career changers and anyone weighing up study. We look at where you are, what you enjoy and what the work really involves, then map realistic routes.
Route B / For families
For parents, partners and supporters. Understand the options, ask better questions and support a decision without taking it over.
Route C / Ongoing support
Careers change. Ongoing support keeps a steady line of advice running across study, work and the next decision.
Three routes
Some decisions are yours alone. Some are made around the kitchen table. Some keep coming back every year or two. We work with each of them, in the same plain language and from the same research.
AFor youChoosing a course, changing careers or coming back to work. Get a clear view of your options and the trade-offs before you commit time and money.
BFor familiesParents, partners and supporters want to help without taking over. We give you the facts, the right questions and a shared plan everyone understands.
COngoing supportA career is a series of decisions, not one. Stay in touch with check-ins, annual career check-ups and follow-ups whenever plans shift.
Your route so far
A starting route, not a plan or a promise. An adviser shapes it with you, and fees are agreed in writing before any work starts.
How it works
Every session follows the same simple route. You always leave with something to do, and a date to do it by.
Call or send an enquiry. Tell us who the advice is for and what decision is on the table.
We research the courses, sectors, entry routes and pay that matter to your situation.
We walk through a pathway map in plain language, with the trade-offs laid out honestly.
Every session ends with a booked next step: an application, a conversation, a check-in.

How we give advice
Not tied to any single course, provider or employer. The routes we show are chosen for fit.
Advice is grounded in published labour market, education and pay information, with sources you can check.
No jargon and no pressure. If something is uncertain, we say so.
Ongoing support
Plans change. Courses finish, jobs shift, families grow. Ongoing support keeps a steady line of advice running through it, with check-ins at the moments that matter.
Map where you are, compare routes and leave with a booked next step.
A short follow-up on what has moved, what is stuck and what has changed.
Review your direction, skills and the market around you, then reset the plan.
A new offer, a promotion, a change of field. Start the next route with your history in hand.
Each check-in builds on the last, so you never have to start from the beginning when the next decision arrives.
No. Our advice is independent of any single course or provider, so the routes we show are chosen for how well they fit you. If a CAQA Groups course is one of the options, we tell you.
Not at all. Many people come to us with a vague idea or several competing ones. Mapping where you are now is the first part of every session.
Yes. Supporters can book their own guidance session, join a session with the person deciding, or both. We keep the person deciding at the centre.
It is how every session ends: with a specific next step that is booked in, such as an application deadline, a conversation with an employer or a check-in date.
Fees depend on the kind of support you choose and are quoted and agreed in writing before any work starts.
From published research and current labour market, education and pay sources. We explain where figures come from and where they are uncertain.
